A 1991 hand painted porcelain Christmas church from the Americana village line by National Decorations. Cream walls, a red roof, a small bell in the tower, and snowy green shrubs at the base.
These putz style village houses have the handmade charm of the old cardboard putz tradition in a sturdier porcelain form. The Americana line covered a whole village - churches, schools, post offices, courthouses - so this is a good piece for anyone assembling one, and a pretty standalone glow on a mantel.
